How Wherewithal handles financial information, app data, support communications, and future optional features.

Wherewithal uses the information you enter to provide its finance-tracking features. Optional future integrations will be disclosed before use.
Wherewithal stores financial information in the app’s Core Data and iCloud-backed ledger to provide budgeting, transaction tracking, and other finance features. Financial records are not sent to the Rewards service. This includes transaction amounts, merchant names, account details, budgets, balances, income, and expenses.
Wherewithal is built with privacy in mind. RASHLABS does not sell personal data or use Rewards information for cross-app tracking or advertising. The optional Rewards feature may process an authenticated user identifier, non-financial reward-action records, timestamps, earned-point totals, and device-attestation information to operate and secure the feature.
Wherewithal does not represent itself as a bank, brokerage, financial institution, investment adviser, or financial adviser. If future versions offer optional connections to financial institutions or other services, the privacy terms and permissions for those features will be disclosed before they are used.
Apple may process information related to downloading, purchasing, updating, or using the app through the App Store and Apple services. That information is handled according to Apple’s own privacy policies and account settings.
Wherewithal may receive limited technical information needed to diagnose crashes, errors, performance problems, or security issues when such information is made available through Apple or services used to operate the app. This information is used to maintain and improve the app.
If you contact RASHLABS for support, information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, device details, screenshots, or description of a problem, may be used to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue.
The optional Rewards feature uses Sign in with Apple to create and authenticate a rewards account. Reward requests are processed separately from the app’s financial ledger, and the Rewards service does not receive users’ financial records. If a user voluntarily provides a Solana wallet address, Wherewithal may store that public address as part of the Rewards feature. The Rewards verification service does not collect or store wallet private keys, request wallet signatures, or access wallet balances or blockchain transaction history.
Wherewithal uses Apple CloudKit to synchronize the app’s financial ledger, Supabase to maintain optional Rewards account and reward records, and Vercel to securely process Rewards verification requests. These services process information as needed to provide their respective functionality and may also be governed by their own privacy policies.
RASHLABS uses safeguards and data-minimization practices when handling information associated with Wherewithal. Rewards requests are protected using authentication, Apple App Attest device verification, rate limiting, replay protection, and server-side access controls. No device, software system, network, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Wherewithal is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a RASHLABS-operated service, contact RASHLABS so the matter can be reviewed.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Wherewithal changes, including when new data features, integrations, rewards, wallet functionality, or other services are introduced. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
